A Little About Us
My husband (the tall, dark, and dashing figure in the center of the action on the left (left image)) and I (the little pink dot tucked into the right corner under the umbrella, watching, laughing, and making sure all is well) have been on this journey of freedom and enlightenment for over 25 years. Along the way, we’ve been joined by our six world-schooling, vegetarian children, who continue to inspire us every day.
Just this week, at a film production (Yes, we’re international models, y’all...at least for a year! Check out this blog post to learn how YOU and YOUR family can do it too!), a gorgeous model asked, “How do you have six children and look so youthful, energized, and happy? How old ARE you?”
She was baffled, but the answer is simple: When you’re living the life of your dreams and helping others do the same, life is sweeter and you find blessings in every moment. And Old Enough, LOL!

About Me
Greetings! I'm Your Coach, Sakilé! I’m excited to walk alongside you in your parenting and homeschool journey. As a personal development family coach, mom of six, and homeschooler/worldschooler (travel+homeschool) since 2003, I understand the challenges of balancing it all. My goal is to help you find joy and peace in parenting and homeschooling while creating the life of your dreams.
Through Embrace Your Free LLC, I guide families to live with Purpose, Mindset, and Focus. I believe in living freely, not waiting for "someday." My experience living in France, Ghana, and Mexico has shaped my unique approach to education and family life, which I share on my podcast, Learning Outside the Box: The Homeschool Chronicles.
In my bootcamp, The Juggle is Real: Balancing Homeschool, Work, and Life, and my private homeschool community of over 20,000 families, I help families navigate homeschooling and parenting challenges with practical strategies. My approach is all about giving yourself grace, embracing growth, and creating balance.
When I’m not coaching, I enjoy exploring plant-based cuisine, i.e. eating my way around the world. My husband, a visionary and supportive partner, has been my greatest encouragement throughout this journey.
